I'm not usually into instrumentals that much, but upon your recommendation I tried this (and a couple others) album. I quite liked it! THANKS!

Amazing...this album is so darned scarce...and I lived for a few years in Milford, MA (Boots's town).

I have half of it on EP, and the other half as 2 singles.

I've never seen the LP, so it's marvelous to get all of the cuts under one roof (so to speak).

I like Boots's albums with Serge Chaloff too...the others here will too, if they haven't heard them yet.

Thanks for sharing...I'm tickled to see this available at last.

ZORCHV, LOOK IF YOU HAVE CHARLIE VENTURA 1949 RECORDINGS, YOU'LL HAVE A LOT OF MUSSULLI BLOWING BARITONE. TELL ME IF YOU WANT THEM DIRECT... DANIEL

Daniel...

Would those be his Victor sides?

I have a couple of 78 singles, and don't think I have them all.

I think I have Ventura's East of Suez album somewhere, but that's the Savoy/Regent material, and too early, right?

Oh...I was pleasantly surprised to find a bit more Boots on this album than I knew about...I have only 7 cuts...were they unissued Capitol sides? Capitol never expanded this 10" to 12" format, correct?

I see that Affinity somehow got the album...I never knew of the reissue. I suppose I shoud have known...I've seen Boston Blow-Up on that label on occasion.

Again...I thank you for posting such nice obscurities...I'm slowly checking off things that were on my want list.

Tres Cool!

I had forgotten completely about the live Decca session...I knew someone who had it once, but it's been a l-o-n-g time.

Thanks in advance!

And I'm so glad (again) that someone out there cares to post this kind of material.
