YANCY Emily 1962

Born 1939 in New York, Emily Yancy entered show business somewhat reluctantly. In 1961, while working at the NYU Medical Center, Emily, at the urging of her colleagues, registred for the Miss America Beauty contest. She won! and all started there. A trip to Cannes Film Festival, a first role in the movie "Sodom and Gomorrah". And, back in New York, this debut album recorded in 1962.
