Sometime after I get set up, I can send you the long out-of-print ten-inch Bethlehem LP of Dick Wetmore, the Boston-based violinist (and cornetist) who passed on a few weeks ago. All of the cuts are by written by Bob Zieff...and most were also performed by the Chet Baker quartet when Dick Twardzik (also Boston-based) was pianist.
Somewhere out there, there is a privately-recorded tape of Wetmpore and Twardzik jamming...that'd be tops on my want list now.
Until then, I'm satisfied with the Bob Gordon and Jack Montrose albums (I have the Montrose EPs...been favorites for years).
Any possibility of digging out the Lennie Niehaus dates with Gordon?

My bad.
Of course, you're right. I didn't recognize the album cover (I had the old 10" versions years ago and was looking for THOSE covers), I assume this is an OJC reissue of the 12" reissue of those sessions (whew!)
Of course, the fact that I've just come off a third shift and am exhausted might have something to do with my myopia.
It's now my utopia...thanks again for Bob Gordon.

As great as he was Bob Gordon made very few albums as leader. This is great to find this one.
