Recorded in 1958, this debut album is really a gem. A fantastic backing, Joe Wilder, Ben Webster, Hank Jones, George Duvivier and Don Lamond. The next one, "Gee Baby!" in 1959 was also a jazz album with Georgie Auld and Hank Jones. After those two lp's, the jazz family lost Donna who went to the commercial side of the music and get there the fame she never had as a jazz singer ! Jazz lost a really good singer...
