Here is also a songbird I don't know much about. The liner notes are as always at the time. "The greatest of them all..." but strictly no informations ! This is her first recording and, at my knowledge, her only one.
I just know it that can be of any interest, that she's born Marilyn Sultana Aboulafia in New York and that this flamming redhead is from Turkish ancesters. She sung in operettas and it is Mario Lanza who brought her to RCA.

I purchased the Spanish release of the album in the mid-ninties and play it frequently. I love it! Very light & fun.

The music on this one is arranged and conducted by Jerry Fielding who also did a lot of soundtracks for movies and television. He got Academy Award nominations for "The wild Bunch" and "Straw Dogs".
dan , you are correct, there is not much info on kathy barr listed on the internet. some good arrangements and fun listens, will do some research at the library when i have some time, thanks for this one,tom.
