Great poster! I have my copy framed and it's the envy of my jazz friends.

Many people learned about this picture through the Spielberg's film "Terminal"

Last week NYTimes published a touching article about Maxine Sullivan and this picture is mentioned.

There is a book out based on that photo called "The Great Jazz Day" by Charles Graham (ISBN 0-306-81163-4) from Da Capo Press. WWW.dacapopress.com. The Book is really good and there is also a DVD out on the same subject.
