Billie Holiday 1933-1942 Complete Recordings

This King Jazz 10 CD's serie is much better than the original Columbia 9 CD's serie.
The remastering and the sound are very good (Made in Switzerland !!!) and there is also 3 Cd's of alternate takes.

This Columbia serie was made some years earlier.
That explains also some of the technical sound problems...

Here is this terrible Billie's pic from Hugh Bell. It was used on ESP 3002 lp presenting unreleased broadcast performances 1942-52. This is the first lp of a serie of 4 and luckily, they used better pics on the following cover arts !!!
