An other "great" liner notes I have to bring you (50's & 60's style !): Conditioned as we are to prefabricated girl singers with asthmatic breathing, heaving ennui and similar afflictions that pass for womanliness, the experience of discovering the genuine article -a for real girl with a for real voice- can be quit shattering. If this hasn't happened to you lately, you'd better protect yourself with a tumbler of martinis and grab a soft couch, for here comes Anita Ray... the SLOW GLOW GIRL.
Annita (the two n's are necessary for the contraction of Anne and Nita and remind to pronounce her name by accenting the first syllable) is a living doll. She was born in Hudson Falls, New York, not too long ago -but long enough to make her forget the exact date- and has always had show business eyes... And so it goes !!! As usual, with no real informations.
I haven't find more about her. Is that essential ? If one of you knows some, I'll be glad to post it.

I know a little about her - none of it for mixed company. Apparently she was not above doing whatever she had to do.

I like her version of Sunday Kind Of Love. I've been to Hudson Falls but I've never heard of Annita before ? I'm curious --how did you hear of her ? What made you buy this album ? Have you owned it since 1962 ?--Tom

Surely this is the girl singer who was with Ray Anthony for a number of years, being part of the "Bookends".
She was on Ray's Capitol recording made at the Saraha Hotel in Vegas.
